Many aspects of photography attract me to this art form, the excitement, the anticipation, the creative and the social... The excitement of being behind the camera, seeing the scenes unfold before the lens... Anticipating the moment when the shutter needs to be released to capture the perfect shot. I also enjoy the creative elements of photography, from composing the image in the lens to transforming it on the computer into its final form.
Meeting new people, making them feel comfortable in front of the camera and recording a part of themselves as they are reflected into the lens are the social parts of photography I love. Whether I am capturing a wedding, a family, a child, photographing commissioned works or documenting a social/political event, I do so with professionalism and care to create the images you want.
